Brazil Decides Not to Apply Temporary Anti-Dumping Duty from China
The Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services (MDIC) announced that it has identified damage to the national industry from imports of cold-rolled steel from China during a preliminary investigation. However, it suggested that the case should continue without the application of temporary anti-dumping duties. In its statement, MDIC noted that the Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX) would complete the investigation by listening to all parties and gathering the necessary elements to make its decision before proposing definitive anti-dumping duties.
